Sleigh Ride in VT

It's Winter Carnival in Brattleboro, VT this week. I'm spending a few days with my kids at the Meadowlark Inn. We had great weather and beautiful afternoon light, for a sleigh ride through the fields and woods surrounding a neighboring farm.
We had a great dinner of beef stew with crusty bread, served up with a few glasses of Bordeaux.
The evening was topped off by the fire, watching the kids play a marathon game of Twister.
Today we have weather moving in that could add to the accumulation, on what has been a record winter for snowfall. Later, I think we are going to do some tubing and maybe catch a movie. But first breakfast.

My Big Sister's Inn

If you haven't had a chance to visit my sister's inn in Brattleboro, VT, you are missing out on a great experience. The inn, my sister and her partner were featured in the March, 2008 home subscribers edition of the Ladie's Home Journal. It was a great article that really highlights their talents as innkeepers, chefs and just plain good people. Hump Day

It's been a little bit of a process converting over to a Mac. I still need to migrate my files over and get the Mac version of LightRoom. I've made it to Wednesday and things are looking good. Time to take the stretch run into the weekend. Anybody out there? Have you created something cool on your Mac? Any new websites? Later day.

Great Weekend

Thanks to Jason at NH Antique Coop for displaying my photographs in a great spot in his shop. The interest has been fantastic and a few sales have developed. His reception for some local artists was really great and the exhibiton space is cool. See their link on my website.

Beautiful Day in New Hampshire

Today is sunny and cold with lots of snow on the ground. I'll do some late day shooting of maple syrup producers...getting ready for sugaring season. Hey big news. I set up a video player on my website. I plan to use it to promote wedding and business client slideshows set to some great music. The page is just waiting for the video link. It's nice to wake up Friday morning and see some nice comments written. Today I'll be teaching, then get ready for a weekend of shuttle service for my kids. This weekend also has an art show reception in my plans. Sounds good to me.

Wait for another day

I made the change from PC to Mac (my pc crashed for the last time). Delivery was scheduled for tomorrow but some how Fed Ex sent it back to Apple...Apple was cool and gave me a nice credit for bumming me out...might be here Saturday...using my kids' laptop in the mean time.

Welcome

Well today is the day. I've started to make some changes to my thinking and doing. Less thinking and more doing. In the last year openned my photography biz, added a new website and today my blog. I feel very fortunate. Feel free to subscribe or leave a comment.
