Eat a Peach

I just stopped by my local farm stand and had one of their peaches. WOW! If you haven't had a native peach to tell you it's summer, then you haven't experienced the perfect food. I can remember laying around my yard as a kid, with my friends, and raiding my neighbors peach trees and Concord grape vines, fighting off the yellow jackets for the ripest ones. Just the smell - nothing like it. I think I'm going back to the stand and buy up a few more peaches. Anyone have any good memories or recipes to share? Summer's ending....

It's harvest time all over New England.  Go to your local Farmer's Market or visit the local produce section of your supermarket.  Keep the family farmer in business!

Bopnique Rules

Well here's a fish that didn't get away  (I added a little wall graffiti to his phone photo).  My brother-in-law, Anthony Resta, landed this huge striper off of Gloucester, MA.  Besides being a great fisherman, Anthony is a successful music producer, based in the Boston area. Visit him at www.myspace.com/bopniquemusique.
