You hulu?

Cable TV may be dying out with the analogue TV signal.  I have been watching some great content on hulu.com - for free!  24, The Office, old movies, even Saturday Night Live and the 3 Stooges.  I bring this up because I love technology.  I don't need to own the newest gadget.  I just want to use it.  And this is something I will use more than my TV.  It's pretty cool!  And I think it is just the beginning in watching content when you want it and where.  See ya cable!

Spring is Just Around the Corner

It's a great time of the year.  Happy to say that spring is almost here.  Soon the crocuses will be popping through.  While you're here, take a minute to check out the Adobe Lightroom Killertips feed on the right sidebar.  I come back every day to see something new.  It's never too late to learn something new.  Later  -Peter

Pat's Big Air Competition

Yesterday I spent the day at Pat's Peak in Henniker, NH, photographing the Big Air snowboard competition.  What a day of music, great energy and super tricks.  The day started off on a low point, with my daughter taking a fall and breaking her arm in warmups.  She was pretty bummed.  She took another run after it happened, then got it checked.  She decided to stay and watch her friends compete and cheer them on.  I have to tell you, the comradere among boarders is pretty cool to watch.  One of her friends wrote a tribute on the bottom of his board and dedicated the runs to her.  Well we ended up  going to the hospital and getting her fixed up.  She's out of action for a month, but I'm sure I'll see her up there for the spring competitions.
I took all of the photos and put them up on a site for everyone to check out.  First time shooting boarders.  Was a little tricky, but got a few good ones.  Here is the link: www.patsairyo.shutterfly.com  Check it out and let me know what you think.  Later

Listen

Although the beginning of a new year brings many resolutions, I plan to listen.  Listen to my kids, listen to my customers, listen to...  Just fill in the blank.  If you noticed, I didn't say how to listen, just listen.  Sounds easy...it's not as easy as you think.  Happy New Y(ear)!
